From July 15th to December 19th, the centaur Chiron will be retrograde. Chiron in Astrology, represents your deepest psychological wound, and your sign and house placement can tell you what that wound is and how you got it. It’s basically the thing you’ve been in therapy for all these years, LOL!⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Currently, the world’s Chiron - the world’s deepest wound - is in the sign of Aries, which means we are all coming face to face with the way self-obsession and ego has hurt our us all as a society. With Chiron in retrograde, though, we’re going to get a brief pause from the obsessive thoughts, to focus on healing this wound as a collective.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A New Space~ Settling in to my New Home

One of the things becoming an Astrologer has taught me is that - just like the planets are always spinning - life is always in some state of flux as well. We never really get to a place when everything ceases movement and we just stop growing. The story always continues, and I am actually grateful for that.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today, I looked around my cute new space and I was excited to see my furniture, my plants and my altar set up. But, I also saw that there are still boxes to unpack and things to put away. As someone with Venus, Mars and Mercury ALL in Virgo, this was devastating to realize, lol! But, when I sat back and looked at the whole picture, and accepted it and myself for what it is, I loved every inch of the disarray. ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Astrology has helped me accept life and myself, just as I am right now. Knowing that everything changes, and everything will change, every time a planet circles the Sun.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I GET SO EMOTIONAL, BABY…

It’s a double whammy of Cancer this week, as both the New Moon AND Mercury will be entering this original water sign.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We often hear about how emo Cancers can be, but did you know quite a few successful business leaders are Cancers or carry a lot of Cancer in their chart? Why is that? ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Because Cancers are the nurturers of the zodiac. They know how to raise something (I.e., a business, a family), for resilience and longevity, not just for overnight success. They know how to give something good soil, clean water and feed it daily, so it grows properly.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Of course, the dark side of Cancer (and EVERY sign has its dark side!) is that they can be prone to OVER-nurturing, smothering and possessiveness. FLASHES OF GREATNESS…

I had a HUGE revelation recently, as I moved into my new apartment fully over the weekend. I’m living alone again, after nearly 20 years of living with a partner. My partner and I have decided to live apart this year, so I have the space to dive deep into my full-time school program, but also, we’re giving each other the space to create boundaries and explore enjoying the company of ourselves.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Of course, I had fears of feeling lonely. But today I woke up and realized that boundaries are SOOO healthy! I felt so clear today. I expect even more revelations to come through by Saturday.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
